Please come along and support the annual Stony in Bloom Plant Sale and York House Spring Coffee Morning. Bag a bargain plant, have a go on the Horticultural Tombola, peruse the stalls, enjoy delicious home made cakes and tea & coffee. There will be children’s colouring activities inside all morning and then join in with the Family Planting Workshop to re-plant our ‘Edible Sharing Bed’ at 10.30am. Stony Stratford Theatre Society will be providing theatrical excerpts throughout the event. At 10.30am the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Coucillor Martin Petchey, will officially open our brand new toilets and there’ll be a special poem from the Bard of Stony Stratford, Mitchell Taylor. See you there?
Jam-packed (although the only jam was in some of the delicious cakes) morning – nearly £1000 raised for Stony in Bloom and York House. Sparkly new toilets officially opened by the Mayor of Milton Keynes. Edible bed planted by the families. Bardic poem and a sprinkling of Shakespeare. Special thanks, of course, to all the cake makers and servers.
