Stony Tracks – Anne Cryer-Whitehead

Anne was born in September 1972, and moved to Milton Keynes in 1975 when her dad got a job at Wolverton Works.  Amongst other things she’s worked for Marshall’s amps and been a Health Care Worker.   Anne was elected as the Stony Stratford Ward Councillor on May 8th 2019, and is the eldest of four daughters.  She has three children and two grandchildren.  Two of her children have autism.  A keen Ripperologist, she has over 300 books on the subject, and is a member of the Whitechapel Society.  She studied criminology at university, and is interested in Victorian crime and social issues.

Stony Tracks is like Desert Island Discs, but with photos of the guests life on the big screen, and the guest chooses 10 pieces of music rather than the 8 on the radio.

The shows are on the second Wednesday of most months in the Beechey Room at York House.  All profits from ticket and bar sales go to help fund projects at York House to help improve the facilities.

February’s guest is Anne Cryer-Whitehead, Milton Keynes Councillor for Stony Stratford.
