10:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Washaway Textiles: A day workshop exploring water soluble fabrics to make decorative textiles.
Taught by Anna Woodhead
At York House Centre, Stony Stratford
Create your own textiles using water soluble fabric. You will make a bowl using thread and fabric scraps. You will then experiment with fabric and stitch to create your own accessory or textile which could be used for embellishing stitching projects. Knowledge of free motion stitching on your sewing machine is an advantage, although guidance will be provided. You will need a darning or embroidery foot on your machine.
Anna is a Stony Stratford based textile artist and tutor with a City and Guilds Diploma in Stitched Textiles.
Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
Covid Secure Guidelines will be adhered to, face coverings must be worn.
Please bring your own lunch and refreshments.
