Plenty of good stuff to keep you entertained in November. Look on the events calendar for more details of each event.
and, of course, lots of Christmas lantern making.
AND HERE’S WHAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED:
Friday, November 3rd, 5.00 – 10.00pm. EatStreet
Another deliciously successful street-food evening, with one of my favourites – Yurkish Gozleme. The last EatStreet of the year will be on December 1st, then a break until March 3rd.
Wednesday, November 8th, 8.00 – 9.00pm: Stony Tracks 1
A lovely “sold-out” start to a series of informal conversations with local characters, involving music and pictures. A jolly evening was had by all. The next maroon will be Dave Quayle, self-confessed “lapsed librarian”, on December 13th. For more info about Stony Tracks see https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=stony%20tracks
Saturday, November 11th, 8.00 – 10.30pm. Five Men Not Called Matt
It was another joyous evening as the not really five, not all men, not called Matt led an enthusiastic audience through jaunty songs of sailors, beer, and fatty bacon, and poignant songs of a hard life, of loss, and of war.
