York House Centre has a variety of rooms to hire, available to the whole community for clubs, meetings, workshops, music rehearsal, parties and events.  Whatever your requirements we can find the right room for you at very competitive prices. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Main Hall

This large room holds approximately 100 people with bar area, kitchen, tables and chairs. Suitable for parties and events, clubs and meetings. The ground floor is fully accessible with ramps to front/rear and a disabled access toilet with baby changing unit. See below for rates.

Borderlien

The stage comes in 12 separate blocks which can be arranged as required. There are two sets of steps and two lower blocks. The stage can also be used in the Beechey and other rooms.

Beechey Room (better photos to follow)

This new multi-functional ground-floor room is adjacent to the kitchen, and holds approximately 40 – 50 people, with tables and chairs. Suitable for small parties and events, clubs and meetings, and activities. The ground floor is fully accessible with ramps to front/rear and a disabled access toilet with baby changing unit. The Space

A self-contained soundproofed rehearsal room with basic PA, tea and coffee making facilities and toilet. See below for rates.

Snooker Room

This bright and airy first-floor meeting room holds a maximum of 30 people.  Folding tables and chairs make this a flexible space suitable for meetings, clubs and workshops.  Large wall-mounted whiteboard and access to tea and coffee making facilities. See below for rates.

Board Room

This second-floor meeting room holds a maximum of 30 people. Folding tables and chairs make this a flexible space suitable for meetings, clubs and workshops.  Access to tea and coffee making facilities. See below for rates.

Small Meeting Room

This second-floor meeting room holds approximately 10 people with tables and chairs and access to tea and coffee making facilities. See below for rates.

Office Space (for lease) 

We do have some office space available for lease, which would suit a charity.  Please contact us for more information.

Kitchen and Servery

A state of the art  new kitchen adjacent to the Main Hall and the Beechey Room. It is fitted with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, kettles, and plenty of storage space containing crockery, cutlery, glasses, and other kitchen equipment.
