Stony in Bloom Plant Sale & Coffee Morning

Message from Judy Deveson of Stony Stratford in Bloom:

Many thanks to all at York House for helping to make Saturday such a resounding success.  We made £730 30p for SSIB funds from plant sale and tombola – and I do hope you had a good day as well.  And we all had a great time too!
Best wishes
Add to that the bubbling-under-£300 income from the York House coffee and cake morning, and it’s a big thanks to all the helpers, donors, cake-makers, and the community of Stony Stratford.
The York House income will go to the new “Educational Garden” project in the community gardens.
Once again, the Edible Bed was tilled and planted by enthusiastic local children. The Shakespearean titbits were provided by the Stony Stratford Theatre Group, appropriate poetry by The Bard and Junior Bard of Stony Stratford, and the bell-ringing and oyez-ing by the Town Crier.
York House organised the sunshine, of course.
