York House Community Gardens Volunteer Day

In fact, it turned out to be a weekend thereof!

Lots of members of Stony’s great community turned up to do their “bit” (actually, “lot”) on Saturday and Sunday, and made a major change to the community gardens, preparing them for the new season. Who knew we had a bird feeder in the gardens!!!!

Many thanks from the York House Centre team for this – this is why we keep the old place up and running!

Thanks to the Stony in Bloom team, the garden plots have been very useful, even during COVID and post-COVID, not least for providing fresh vegetables and fruit to the local food bank.
