Noah’s Cape – EVENT POSTPONED

Popular acoustic trio Noah’s Cape bring their unique blend of music, poetry and humour to York House in Stony Stratford on Saturday, 4th November , 2023. This family-friendly show will include original songs, covers and traditional tunes in an evening of acoustic entertainment.

Noah’s Cape consists of Linda Watkins (Guitars, Mandolin and Fretless Bass), Marian Wedley (Guitar, Whistles and Harmonica) and Mark Niel  (Guitars including Baritone and High Strung). All three take turns in singing lead vocals with their trademark three-part harmonies shining through in equal measure. Each are accomplished solo performers yet combined are much more than the sum of their parts.

They said, “We are looking forward to playing at York House in Stony Stratford.  Stony is renowned for its long history of keeping music live and we are delighted to be able to add our voices to the chorus.”

Additional humour and poetry is provided by Mark who is well known as Milton Keynes’ Poet Laureate. He has performed at festivals such as Latitude, Green Man and Wychwood as well as appearing on BBC National radio.

For those audience members who love to sing there will be ample opportunity to join in.
