Our three storey Victorian building (c.1860) is Grade II Listed and is run by a Volunteer Board of Trustees to provide rooms for hire for the whole community.

York House Centre Membership
As a publicly-owned Charitable Company Limited By Guarantee, and a Registered Charity, York House Centre likes to involve the local community in how it is run and what the future may hold for the centre. You can become a member and have your say by completing the on-line membership form (go to “Membership” from the Home page) or by contacting York House office.
York House Centre holds its Annual General Meeting in the autumn.
York House Centre Volunteers
York House Centre organises a number of events during the year, sometimes as community/family events, sometimes as fund-raisers for York House, sometimes as support for other charities and organisations, and sometimes a mixture of all three.
York House has a fine body of willing volunteers – a friendly crew, always happy to welcome newcomers. Whether you can bake cakes, pour tea, serve behind a simple bar, check tickets, be a steward, help set up and clear rooms……. you will be welcome. Contact Fiona or Tina at the office on 01908 563361 or email http://firstname.lastname@example.org.
