French Lessons and Friends… POSTPONED!

Sat 15 Jan 2022

08:15 PM - 10:15 PM

SORRY, but uncertainty over possible pending COVID restrictions has forced us to make the difficult decision to postpone. Watch this space for  new date.

Three piece band, French Lessons, formed in the 70s with original song topics  ranging from Paris to markets and teachers! Expect an eclectic mix of styles and some “Unlikely” guests!

“French Lessons” comprises Ian Lee-Dolphin, Martin Plumb and Richard Gleave. We will be playing our first gig in Stony Stratford for 14 years and guarantee an evening of eclectic entertainment with our own songs in a variety of styles.

Wide ranging topics include 1920s Paris, student teachers, seaside holidays, 70s discos, market traders and much more. We originally formed during 1977 in West London and have recorded two CDs.
Sharing the bill for one night only, the return of The Unlikely Brothers featuring Stony Stratford’s own Bard, Andy Powell together with Richard, Pete Jelfs and Cris Thomas.

TICKETS: £8.00 from https://www.wegottickets.com/event/531244

All profits from CD and ticket sales will be donated to the MK branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), to distribute locally.

Oh, one more thing…we won’t be too loud either
