Simply Floyd and Jon Pollard recreate the rocking atmosphere of Knebworth with their homage to Pink Floyd and Roy Harper

At the Knebworth Park Festival in August 1975, Pink Floyd and Roy Harper performed on stage together.  That year saw the release of Pink Floyd’s album, ‘Wish You Were Here’ and Roy Harper’s album, ‘HQ’.  Both albums were recorded at the Abbey Road studios in London where Floyd and Harper were stablemates under the Harvest label.  The second side of ‘Wish You Were Here’ opens with Roy taking the lead vocal on ‘Have A Cigar’.  Tonight, Simply Floyd and Jon Pollard will recreate the sounds of Pink Floyd and Roy Harper from those heady days of the summer of 1975
