Rosalie’s Recollections and Memories of Miss Ada Plumb – POSTPONED

Another delightful talk by Rosalie Osborne; this time it’s her recollections of her time working in 1950’s Stony Stratford And Some Of Less Well Known Characters And Past History Which Has Left Its Mark On This Historic Town. She will go back to the early twentieth century stories as told by Miss Ada Plumb, former history teacher at the school in the building now Known as “The Old School House” (recently The Plough pub).

Entry is £4.00, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits, and the proceeds will go to York House’s youth, community and arts projects. Places are limited so you can ensure a seat by booking at http://www.wegottickets.com/event/558515 or you can pay cash on the door.

The event is in the Beechey Room at the rear entrance of York House. There are ramps for wheelchair access and York House has a disabled access toilet.
