Every week, local residents visit York House for community groups, classes, live entertainment, wellbeing activities, meetings and events.

We are also proud to support initiatives including the Stony Stratford Community Larder and Stony in Bloom, helping strengthen our local community every day.

We receive no regular government funding. The future of York House depends on the continued support of our community.

At the heart of Stony Stratford.

Needed towards essential building works.

Our fundraising deadline.

As part of our Building for Our Future campaign, we have an ambitious fundraising target and need to raise £20,000 by December 2026 to contribute towards essential building works that will secure the future of York House Centre.

Specialist structural surveys have confirmed that a former stable block at the rear of the building has become unsafe. Unless action is taken, it could cause significant damage to the main building and essential facilities.

Secure and protect the main York House building.

Create a dedicated disabled parking area with improved access.

Build a new first-floor community room for local groups and organisations.

Reuse original materials wherever possible to preserve the building’s heritage.

Over the coming months there will be plenty of opportunities to support the campaign.

We’ll be holding fundraising events, working with local businesses and community groups, and inviting people to donate in whatever way they can.

Every donation, whatever the size, will help us secure the future of York House Centre.
